Classics at The Bloomsbury

Pillar

Bloomsbury Theatre Education is collaborating once again with UCL's Greek & Latin dept as part of it's public engagement programme, Ancient Plays for Modern Minds. A series of talks and workshops hosted by international experts and Greek drama practitioners explore the Aeschylean trilogy and it's reception. Last year we delivered a number of workshops for sixth form students on Euripides' The Trojan Women following the recent National Theatre production, and we continue to ask the question 'Why now?' Euripides's concerns are universally relevant now as they were 2,000 years ago.
