Nargila Nights

UCL Union Jewish Society in association with UCLU Stage Crew Society present an amateur production of Nargila Nights. Come and join us for the UCLU Jewish Society debut appearance in the Bloomsbury Theatre on the 30th January 2007. Featuring Nargila Nights - a witty and comical play which has been written specially for the occasion: on an almost-summer night in North London, eight Jewish almost-adults meet to smoke nargila while they play, gossip, and argue. Beneath the laughter and comedy they all share a very real desire to understand the implications of being Jewish, and British, in the twenty-first century. There will be music performances from some of the finest Jewish musical talents at UCL, including a unique performance by the North West London Jewish Day School Choir. The show will also mark a historic moment in the history of the Jewish Society which has enjoyed something of a revival in recent years through the dynamism and hard work of the Jewish student body; friendliness and a determination to include have also played their part. Please come and join with us in celebrating our success at the Bloomsbury Theatre on the 30th January, where you’ll be treated to an evening of music, laughter, and Jewish culture.UCL Union Tickets - £7, concessions - £5
