UCL Union Drama Society and UCLU Stage Crew Society present an amateur production of THE RECRUITER - AN ESPIONAGE THRILLER At the stroke of New Year's 2008, Red Faction extremists (an offshoot of Al-Qaeda) forced control over the 17th Floor of the SAMTEC oil company headquarters in Houston and took five hostages. The ensuing siege was a disaster; two hostages were killed, the building blew up and police negotiator John Truman was found the following day, having committed suicide in a lonely back alley.
