Poetry Matters

The Children's Bookshow tour 2006: Poetry Matters brings the exuberant poet and performer Val Bloom to the Bloomsbury.
Val's a prolific writer who's been published in over eighty adult and children's anthologies. Her children's poetry books include Whoop an' Shout and Fruits and she's also edited a multicultural anthology One River, Many Creek, all of which are published by MacMillan.. She's performed extensively throughout Britain and the Caribbean in theatres, festivals, universities and schools.
