Transtango is a unique multimedia performance bringing together the acclaimed Alexander Balanescu with Pablo Mainetti ,the most talented composer of Argentina's new Tango generation, featuring special guest start Elena Roger.
The new works, performed by the Balanescu Quartet, are integrated into a cinematic projection that tells the story of the migration of people and the mutation of culture in today's modern cities, while exploring the rich and complex nature of tango culture borne of the modern urban experience.
