Trading in the complex electronic of her previous project Lamb, singer Lou Rhodes has forged a new path of simple folk, for which she received a 2006 Mercury Music nomination for her debut album 'Beloved One'.
As one-half of Lamb, one of the most soulful, vibrant and musically elaborate bands of the last ten years, Rhodes composed intimate meditations on sensuality, longing, struggle, dedication, and the humbling power of true love. But following the breakup of the band in 2004, she left behind the trappings of a more typical rock lifestyle and instead embraced her folk roots and inclinations, both in lifestyle and music.
As the voice of Lamb, Lou Rhodes won many fans for her enchanting voice and lyrics; she now reveals a new and altogether truer, and purer embodiment of herself as a performing folk artist.
