bacchic

An icon. An orgy. A dissenter.

Caught between heaven and earth, a demi-god falls from grace. Inspired by The Bacchae, Euripides’ masterpiece of rejection and revenge, aod’s Bacchic explores the epic battle between ecstasy and restraint. Using stunning aerial theatre, storytelling, music and movement, this is a provocative look behind the mask of the guru to question our faith in heroes.
