    Grand Final 2015 featuring headline sets from Cassette Boy vs DJ Rubbish Comedy Disco and Rachel Parris plus the six finalists, the Best Newcomer and hosted by Rob Deering.

    Now in its seventh year, the WeGotTickets MCA has provided a launch pad to superstar acts like Frisky and Mannish (2009 Finalists), Abandoman (2010 winners) and Jay Foreman (Best Newcomer 2009 and has toured with Dave Gorman) and created a thriving independent platform to celebrate the artform that is musical comedy. Since 2009 the competition has also played host to stars of the genre such as David O'doherty, Bo Burnham, Rubberbandits, Mitch Benn, Pippa Evans, Tom Basden, Isy Suttie, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer and many more.

    In this entertaining show, Tony combines storytelling, stand up, musical comedy and film clips to create 2 hours of fun. Amongst other things Tony will recount the amusing and sometimes fraught story of how he went from being ‘Comedian and author’ to ‘Comedian, author and film-maker’. His hilarious tales of how he became an independent film maker - producing both Round Ireland With A Fridge’ and ‘Playing The Moldovans At Tennis’- will be peppered with the wry observations that have made him such a hit on Radio 4’s Just A Minute and I'm Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and QI.

He’s a double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee. Yet none of that rubbish has brought him any joy. Come and laugh in his stupid face at his disappointing life and some amusing thoughts he’s cobbled together about how awful the world is.
