    Now in its seventh year, the WeGotTickets MCA has provided a launch pad to superstar acts like Frisky and Mannish (2009 Finalists), Abandoman (2010 winners) and Jay Foreman (Best Newcomer 2009 and has toured with Dave Gorman) and created a thriving independent platform to celebrate the artform that is musical comedy. Since 2009 the competition has also played host to stars of the genre such as David O'Doherty, Bo Burnham, Rubberbandits, Mitch Benn, Pippa Evans, Tom Basden, Isy Suttie, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer and many more.

    The Final of the 2015 WeGotTickets MCA will see six finalists who have progressed through a series of heats in London battle it out at the Bloomsbury Theatre on April 10th to win the musical comedy crown of this prestigious competition. His hilarious tales of how he became an independent film maker - producing both Round Ireland With A Fridge’ and ‘Playing The Moldovans At Tennis’- will be peppered with the wry observations that have made him such a hit on Radio 4’s Just A Minute and I'm Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and QI.
